The high surf advisory posted for the North Shore is bringing more than just big surf, it's bringing big concern for residents whose property are in jeopardy of washing away.

HONOLULU -

The National Weather Service in Honolulu has cancelled a high surf advisory for the north and west shores of Kauai, along with the north shores of Oahu, Molokai and Maui Monday.

Forecasters say the north swell is trending down and the trend is expected to continue over the next couple of days.

The high surf is of particular concern to several homeowners on Oahu’s North Shore who are dealing with extreme erosion  threatening their properties.
