Honolulu Zoo director resigns effective Jan. 11

Jeffrey Mahon (far right in blue) was named as the new Honolulu Zoo director.


Honolulu Zoo Director Jeffrey Mahon announced he is resigning, less than six months after starting the job.

Mahon cited personal reasons for his departure.  His last day is Jan. 11.

Assistant director Baird Fleming will serve as acting director until a successor is picked.
