Hospice Hawaii presented with $20K check from Hawaii Energy Connection

HONOLULU -

Under Hawaii Energy Connection's "KumuKit Cares" community initiative, managing partners Steve Godmere and Chris DeBone presented a generous donation of $20,000 to Hospice Hawaii, particularly to its pediatric hospice care program.

Dr. Ken Zeri, Hospice Hawaii President accepted the check on Oct. 10.  A first-of-its-kind in the state, Hospice Hawaii's Pediatric Hospice Care "Mana'Olana Keiki (Hope for the Children) is an ohana of trained and committed caregivers dedicated to providing support to children with life-limited illness and their families.

Their goal is to help those in their care experience a meaningful end-of-life journey, to ensure their comfort, their dignity, and to do everything to keep them free from pain and suffering.
