Obama Motorcade Arrives At House

HONOLULU -

Attention Windward and south shore motorists on Oahu.

The Honolulu Police Department will be conducting motorcade training on two roadways connecting the South and East shores of Oahu for a couple off hours Thursday morning.

Police have scheduled training on the Pali Highway, from Kailua to Honolulu, from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Following that they will be training on the H3 Freeway, from Kailua to Hickam Air Force Base, from 10:30 a.m to 11:30 a.m.

Motorists can expect delays at these times, so it is advised to use the Likelike Highway if possible.

President Obama and the First Family are scheduled to arrive on Oahu tomorrow, Friday, for their annual holiday vacation.

They are anticipated to stay until Jan. 5, 2014.

It has not been confirmed whether this training is a result of that visit.
