Investigators launch probe into three-year-old girl's death
An active investigation has been launched into the practice of Dr. Lily Geyer. The dentist is being sued for the wrongful death of a three-year-old Kailua girl.
The Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs has started its investigation on Geyer. The findings of the investigation will then go before the 12 member State Board of Dental Examiners.
The medical board could then fine Geyer or take her license away.
Three-year-old Finley Boyle died a month after her dentist appointment. She went in for 10 procedures and left with permanent brain damage.
