Job seekers find opportunities at Honolulu job fair
The Job Quest Job fair helped many of Hawaii's job searchers connect with local employers.
Disney's Aulani Resort and Spa was just one of 176 employers at fair held in the Neil Blaisdell Center. The resort is taking applications now until November and is looking for about 250 employees with engaging personalities and a knowledge of the Hawaiian culture.
"When you think of Disney, you think of happiness, bubbliness and all that stuff. So I think I'd fit right in," said Neizel Hoe. "Hopefully they'll see through all the other applicants and they'll pick me. It would be nice."
Another popular booth at the job fair was Island Air. The company is hiring for over 27 positions including pilots and flight attendants.
Aside from the booths, job seekers also received a free self-photo for their Linkedin accounts.
