Honolulu police have charged an 18-year-old Kalihi man with manslaughter in connection with the death of a 38-year-old Ewa Beach man.
Gerime Bradley was arrested late Saturday afternoon. Bail has been set at $200,000.
Bradley was believed to have been in a fight with John Melvin Howard on Komana Street in Ewa Beach just before 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 23.
Witnesses told KITV they saw a black sports car pull up on Komana Street and the people inside exchanged words with Howard before driving off.
Witnesses then saw three men walk up to Howard, one kicking him in the chest, causing him to fall to the ground.
One of the men then apparently snapped a picture of Howard on the ground before leaving the scene.
Howard was transported to the hospital in critical condition but died on Monday.
The Honolulu medical examiner later determined that Howard died from a head injury. Two other suspects are believed to be involved in the beating.
