HONOLULU -

An ocean rescue left a Koloa fisherman with a big fishing tale.

Coast Guard crews pulled 54-year-old Anthony Wichman from the waters off Port Allen early Friday.  They say his 14-foot-long boat capsized and his fishing line pulled him underwater when he hooked a 230-pound ahi.

Wichman managed to climb back up on his boat's hull and call for help.

Coast Guard crews took Wichman to the hospital with minimal injuries and his friends came out to salvage his boat.  But, they noticed the ahi was still on the line.  They managed to reel in the monster catch and tow the boat back to Port Allen.
