King Street bus stops to reopen Saturday

The City & County of Honolulu Department of Transportation Services said that King Street bus stops between River Street and Richards Street in Downtown Honolulu will reopen on Saturday at 3 p.m.

The reopening of the bus stops will coincide with the temporary closure of Hotel Street for the Hallowbaloo Music & Arts Festival happening on the evening of Oct. 26.

After the completion of the Hallowballoo Festival, all King Street bus routes will remain on King Street and the Hotel Street bus routes will return to Hotel Street.

The King Street bus stops have been closed since July 22 as a result of the city's King Street Reconstruction Project.

Reopening Bus Stops

- S. King & River (#92)

- S. King & Maunakea (#997)

- S. King & Bethel (#393)

- S. King & Alakea (#1405)

- S. King & Richards (#4400)

The following buses will resume the regular route:

- Route A, CityExpress! A

- Route C, CityExpress! C

- Route 4, Nuuanu-Punahou

- Route 19, Waikiki-Airport-Hickam

- Route 20, Waikiki-Pearlridge

- Route 40, Honolulu-Makaha

- Route 42, Ewa Beach-Waikiki

- Route 43, Waipahu-Honolulu-Alapai (weekday only)

- Route 1L: School St. - Hawaii Kai (weekday only)

- Route 2L: School St. - Waikiki (weekday only)

All peak-hour weekday eastbound express routes:
