Honolulu Police charged a 32-year-old Makaha woman with attempted murder and robbery in connection with a shooting earlier this month.
Police arrested May Iwa Brewer Saturday night in Kapolei after issuing a CrimeStoppers bulletin late last week.
The shooting happened May 19th along Farrington Highway in Makaha.
A police report said a 40-year-old woman was sitting in her car along the highway when she was approached by Brewer.
The report said Brewer brandished a hand gun, demanded money and tried to take the victim's property.
During a struggle, the gun went off and a bullet hit the victim in the head, according to police.
The victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
Bail for Brewer was set at $250,000.
