A man accused of shooting two police officers has admitted to shooting himself as a police manhunt closed in on him.
According to the Hawaii Tribune Herald, 32-year-old Keaka Martin voluntarily admitted to shooting himself with a 9-mm handgun.
The information might be used as evidence in his jury trial scheduled to start February 3.
