Man wanted in connection with fatal Kailua stabbing
Honolulu Police need your help in locating a suspect wanted in connection with the fatal stabbing of a homeless man in Kailua.
Police say they are looking for Robert Roediger-Geauque who is wanted for the murder of 37-year-old Scott MacMillan.
The homicide occurred in a stairwell on Uluniu Street on January 13 at 11:41 p.m.
Roediger-Geauque is described as a 31-years-old man, standing 5'5" tall with a tattoo of the Hawaiian Islands on the back of his left leg.
He is possibly carrying a backpack and a skateboard with no wheels. He is known to frequent the Honolulu, Wahiawa, Windward, Kalihi, and Waikiki areas.
Roediger-Geauque is also wanted on a $500 warrant.
According to criminal records, Roediger-Geauque has three prior misdemeanor convictions. They include traffic offenses and disorderly conduct, all committed on Maui.
MacMillan was homeless at the time of the murder. There were at least three fatal stabbings in the months proceeding this murder involving Oahu homeless men.
Macmillan grew up on Iliaina street, graduated from the nearby of Kalaheo High School and was known by many in the community for his ability to cook.
He was a chef at the former restaurant Lucy's.
Anyone with information about Roediger-Geauque is asked to call Crimestoppers at 955-8300. You can remain anonymous and may be entitled to a $1,000 for information.
