Manoa BOH to reopen 1 year after water damage from fire
The Manoa branch of Bank of Hawaii will reopen on Tuesday, Oct. 15, about a year after it suffered extensive roof and water damage from a fire at a second-floor business at the Manoa Marketplace.
On Oct. 14, 2012, water damage from the fire damaged more than 80 percent of its facilities, according to Bank of Hawaii.
Ten bank employees worked at neighboring branches during the renovation.
In addition to restoring the branch, upgrades were incorporated into the renovation to enhance service and operational efficiency, which includes a new and private manager's office for client meetings, more open lobby space and state-of-the-art self-service hand scanning access to safe deposit boxes.
