Maui firefighters responded to the second fire at a Paukakalo home Monday afternoon.
This is the second time, in less than a week, that the residence caught fire.
Officials say the latest fire was located on the back of the home’s second floor. Firefighters were able to contain the fire to where it started.
The six residents remain homeless.
The fire is under investigation by police and fire officials. Fire officials say it is most probable that the blaze was accidental.
Damage has been estimated at $140,000.
