Maui police investigate two fires; fires subsequent

KAHULUI, Hawaii -

Maui Police are investigating two fires lit within an hour of one another at two upcountry schools on Wednesday.

According to Maui News, officers found evidence that Molotov cocktails were used to start both fires. The first fire happened around 9 p.m. on Monday at King Kekaulike High School and a second happened just 30 minutes later at Seabury Hall.

Police are investigating a fourth-degree arson case in both fires.
