Maui police need more information on unattended death case

KA`ANAPALI, Hawaii -

Maui County police are asking the public for help getting more information about a  53-year-old man who died at a Ka'anapali resort.

Officers were called to the Mariott's Maui Ocean Club at around 6:40 a.m. Monday after a man was found unresponsive on the pavement of the resort property.

Police say the man, who may be a visitor to Hawaii, had observable injuries.  

Police have classified the case as an unattended death.
