Medical examiner identifies woman who died in Ahuimanu crash

The Honolulu medical examiner has identified the 51-year-old woman who died in a car crash in Ahuimanu Wednesday.
The woman was identified as Rachelle Ching of Kaneohe. The cause of death was blunt force injuries of the head and neck. Her death was ruled as accidental.
Police say the driver of the car swerved off the road and crashed into a pole on Ahuimanu Road around 6:30 p.m. Ching was a passenger in the car.
The man driving the car was hospitalized in serious condition.
Police say the driver and the passenger were not wearing seat belts.
