Wildlife officials captured a monk seal after it bit two swimmers off the Kona coast, who were practicing for this week's Ironman World Championships.

The 4-month-old Hawaiian monk seal who bit two training triathletes in waters off the Big Island has been moved to a new home.

According to West Hawaii Today, the 100-pound male pup was sent to Niihau on Friday.

Last week, the monk seal -- also known as Kamilo -- bit the men near Kona's King Kamehameha Hotel.

Wildlife officials captured Kamilo and looked for a place where he can thrive with other monk seals.
