OMAHA, Neb. -

The words "teenage drivers" are enough to cause anxiety in even the heartiest of parents.

A northwest Omaha family may be dealing with anxiety and much more as its quintuplets learn to drive.

Nick Jansen is what you would expect to find in an engaged sophomore at Central High School. So is his brother, Carter. In fact all the Jansen sophomores -- Elija, Carter, Taylor, Miranda and Nick -- could be described that way.

KETV introduced viewers to the quintuplets in 1998.  They are Nebraska's first quintuplets.

All five of them earned their learner's permits in July.

Jeff, their father, has managed to keep it together as he drives with each one, scheduling their individual time behind the wheel.

"I say turn right at the stop sign, well he does that, but he forgets to stop," Jeff Jansen said of one of his children.

The teens are taking their driving lessons a step further, sharing what they've learned online.  Partnering with State Farm, they launched a video blog.

The Jansens' hope is that the blog will inspire families with five children to talk about safe driving.
