A Mililani home was robbed in broad daylight and the suspect may have been caught on video.

MILILANI, Hawaii -

A house burglarized in broad daylight, and the owner may have biked right by the culprit. Neighbors say they have everything caught on video.

They say surveillance video catches the burglar in the act. The footage shows a man on Friday, empty handed, walking down the street at 2 p.m. The man looks over a fence, then he passes right by the security camera facing the street. Thirty minutes later, he comes out with two suitcases and a guitar in hand.

"It was very brazen ... this is Mililani, so a lot of people are at work at this time and he probably thought that the neighborhood was pretty quiet," said neighbor Jason Henke.

The twist, the owner of the house rides his bike right by the man with the suitcases and guitar. They say in the suitcases were the son's laptop, Social Security card and much more.

"The fact that I was riding by on my bicycle not at the precise moment he was leaving my house, but for me to see him in front of my neighbors house, carrying suitcases is just unbelievable," said homeowner John Mathias.
