A man was found dead at the home of singer Olivia Newton-John, WPBF 25 News has learned.
"We received a call of a possible suicide," Jupiter Inlet Colony police Capt. John Pruitt said Monday.
Pruitt said Newton-John and her husband were not present at the home, located in the 100 block of Lighthouse Drive in Jupiter Inlet Colony.
Jupiter police Lt. Scott Pascarella said the victim is a 42-year-old contractor who was hired by the homeowners. Pascarella said the man suffered a gunshot wound.
The identity of the man won't be released until an autopsy and manner of death have been determined, likely Tuesday.
WPBF 25 News' Ted White reported that Pariseleti Construction was making repairs to the home which, according to at least one published report this month, was about to be sold to Rosie O'Donnell, who just sold her Miami Beach home this summer for more than $12 million.
