OMAHA, Neb. -

Police have identified the woman whose body was found in a freshly dug grave at an Omaha cemetery Thursday.

Authorities said a worker found the body of Melissa Rodriguez, 19, of Omaha, at Graceland Park Cemetery near 42nd and L streets around 10 a.m.

The cemetery was closed as part of the investigation, which police have officially ruled a homicide.

Cemetery officials confirmed there was only one open grave there at the time, and only one funeral service was scheduled to take place Thursday.

According to his obituary, shooting victim Kevin McIntyre was scheduled to be interred at Graceland Park Cemetery following an 11 a.m. memorial service.

While the memorial service took place Thursday morning, family members said his burial service was delayed.

McIntyre was shot to death near 27th and Spencer streets on Aug. 4.  His twin brother was wounded in the shooting.

There is no known link between the discovery of the Rodriguez' body and McIntyre's scheduled burial.
