A rally against the barricades placed along Kamehameha Highway at Laniakea Beach was cancelled Sunday morning. The event will be next week, Dec. 8, at the same time and location.

A Marriage Equality Family Day and Celebration being held by Honolulu Mayor Kirk Caldwell was also relocated due to the weather.

The event was initially scheduled to be held at Thomas Square but has been moved to the second floor of the Mission Memorial Building.

The event was held from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, when license agents and event organizers were available.
