HONOLULU -

The city's Enterprise Services Department moved concrete planters into place in front of the Neal Blaisdell Concert Hall on Tuesday, forcing deOccupy protestors to pitch their tents on the sidewalk on Ward Avenue instead of King Street.

Closure of the King Street sidewalk is scheduled to last until May 20.

On Monday, there were 15 tents pitched along King Street, but a day later, just five tents remain on Ward Avenue.

Protesters are also prevented from pitching tents on the makai and mauka sides of nearby Thomas Square due to wooden planters that have been installed, or are in the process of being installed.
