Jose Alfaro is charged with misuse of 911 and resisting arrest.

A man arguing with a Boynton Beach police officer about a car accident his wife was involved in was arrested after calling 911 and requesting a new officer, according to a report.

Jose Alfaro, 33, "showed up after the crash and kept getting involved/arguing with me about his wife being at fault in the crash," the arrest report said.

When the arresting officer told Alfaro to leave the immediate area so he could continue the investigation into the accident, Alfaro complied. But moments after walking away, he called 911 "to get a different officer to the scene," the report said.

The report also said Alfaro accused the officer of not listening to him, and that he wanted a Spanish-speaking officer to come to the scene.

When the officer learned that Alfaro had called 911, he called him back over and asked him to sit next to his handcuffed wife, but he walked back away, forcing the officer to walk away from the wife to arrest him.

Alfaro was arrested on charges of misuse of 911 and resisting arrest.
