Police charge homeless man with murder
Honolulu police have charged a homeless man with second-degree murder in the apparent beating death of another homeless man earlier this month.
Police arrested 58-year-old Ronald Page at Tripler Army Medical Center Thursday night. He was charged with murder last night.
The medical examiner identified the victim as 49-year-old Lynn Riley. An autopsy listed the cause of death as bleeding in the skull due to blunt force trauma to the head.
Police say the two men were involved in an altercation at Aala Park on October 1. Riley was taken to a trauma center where he died on October 10.
Bail for Page is set at $250,000.
