Police on manhunt for Waipahu bank robber

WAIPAHU, Hawaii -

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a man wanted for robbing the Bank of Hawaii Waipahu branch located at 94-712 Farrington Highway Friday at approximately 11:15 a.m.

Police say the man entered the bank, approached the teller, and demanded money. He fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The man is described as in his 60s, 5-feet-8-inches-tall, with a thin build and gray/white hair.  His eyes are blue and he wears prescription glasses.  He also has a white goatee.

The man was wearing a black Polo shirt, light-colored shorts and a dark brown baseball cap.
