Police release sketch of Kailua sex assault suspect

Honolulu police have released a sketch of a man wanted for first-degree sexual assault in Kailua.

On Tuesday, at around 6:40 p.m., the victim was walking on Kailua Beach when she was approached by the man.

Police say the man grabbed her and sexually assaulted her.  The victim was able to escape to one of the homes on the beach and called police.

The man is described to be in his 20s, about 5-feet-11-inches-tall, weighing 160-to-170-pounds, with very short black hair.  He was last seen wearing a dark-colored shirt with white print and board shorts.
