Police release sketch of Wahiawa bank robber

HONOLULU -

Honolulu police have released a sketch of the man wanted for robbing the Wahiawa branch of Central Pacific Bank on California Avenue on May 1.

Police say at around 10:05 a.m., the man entered the bank, approached the teller, brandished a handgun and demanded money.

Investigators believe this man may also be responsible for the bank robbery on May 13 at the American Savings Bank at the Salt Lake Shopping Center.

The man is believed to be in his 20s, about 5-feet-10-inches-tall, weighing 170 pounds.  He has brown eyes.

The robber was wearing a gray hoodie, brown jacket, brown long pants, black backpack and a black ski mask.
