Lights are back on at the Circuit Court building off Punchbowl Street.
Hawaiian Electric Company officials say the small outage was caused by a problem with an underground cable.
Judiciary spokeswoman Marsha Kitagawa says power went out around 3 p.m. Tuesday, causing an evacuation of the Circuit Court building. The building also suffered phone and internet access outages earlier in the day.
HECO officials say power was restored about an hour and a half later. About 25 customers were affected by the outage.
Kitagawa also revealed a loss of phone and internet service at the State Supreme Court building, Ali’iolani Hale, around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.
