A spokesperson for Kiewit Infrastructure West Co., the rail project's main contractor, said more than 150 workers are expected back on the job.

There are now more than 1,000 people working on the rail project.

Our partners at Pacific Business News say the over $5 billion dollar project surpassed the one-thousand worker mark in March.

HART officials tell PBN they expect to see the four-thousand jobs mark during peak construction.

Nearly half of the workers are with Kiewit Infrastructure West and a chunk of the others with Ansaldo Honolulu Joint Venture.
