HONOLULU -

The first of three Bruno Mars concerts in Honolulu begins Friday night.

On ticket reseller website StubHub.com, tickets are still available for the Friday night concert.  Prices range from $108.25 for loge seating to $675 for a first row ticket, as of 11:33 a.m.

Friday night's concert begins at 8 p.m at the Neal Blaisdell Arena.  This is the first stop of his North American leg of his Moonshine Jungle World Tour.

Tonight on KITV4 News at 6, Moanike`ala Nabarro takes us back in time to watch Bruno's climb to stardom, which was set in motion inside a Waikiki showroom.

"When I first joined the show, I think they told me he was getting ready to turn 5, and they told me he was the star of the show.  And I said, 'What?!'" said Alison Maldonado, former Love Notes band member.  "A 5-year-old is the star of the show?  But when I saw him perform, I was like, 'Oh, there you go!'"
