Schlitterbahn's Kansas City water park has some "insane" plans for next summer.

The park is currently constructing a 17-story water slide that it expects will be the tallest, steepest and fastest in the world.

Verruckt, a German name meaning insane, will take guests down the plunge in a four-person raft. On its website, Schlitterbahn said it's not a "wedgie-inducing" ride.

An elaborate conveyor system is also being built to help carry those rafts back to the top.

The park expects to have Verruckt up and running for its bravest guests next summer.

Schlitterbahn released a teaser video offering a sneak peek at the ride's construction.
