Stangel murder trial now in jury's hands
The fate of Toby Stangel is now in the hands of 12 people.
At around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, attorneys have rested their cases in the trial of a man accused of going on a Honolulu shooting spree two years ago.
Stangel has been charged with eight counts of murder and attempted murder along with several counts of firearms and drug charge.
Defense attorney John Schum says his client didn't have the "state of mind" required to convict him.
