TSA helps create inspection-friendly locks
A new luggage lock has been developed to allow TSA officers to more easily inspect baggage and contents without cutting traveler's locks.
The Transportation Security Administration says it has worked with several companies to develop the inspection-friendly locks. Security officers can open the locks using a universal master key.
TSA officials say the locks are available at most airports and travel stores nationwide. The packaging on the locks should also indicate whether the locks can be opened by TSA.
