TSA Pre-Check Program Application Centers open in Hawaii

The TSA is opening up offices in Hawaii to help travelers who are looking to avoid delays caused by airport security.

Relief is here  for travelers who are tired of being stuck in long lines.

The Transportation Security Administration is opening up four enrollment centers in Hawaii for its Pre-Check Application Program.  About 400 travelers in Hawaii have signed up so far.

The  program allows enrolled travelers an expedited screening program that allows travelers to leave on their shoes, jackets and belts,  keep their laptops in their bags.

The price tag is $85 for five years. To apply for Pre-Check status, you must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident and must be willing to go through a background check.

The locations for the four centers in Hawaii are as follows:

Oahu- UES Enrollment Center - 737 Bishop Street, Suite 1550, Honolulu

Maui- UES Enrollment Center- 291Hookahi Street, Suite 106, Wailuku

Kauai UES Enrollment Center - 2970 Kele Street, Suite 111, Lihue

Big Island-UES Enrollment Center- Business Center, 99 Aupuni Street, Suite 201, Hilo
