Waipahu home destroyed by fire
Fire officials say a Waipahu house was destroyed by fire Thursday afternoon.
Firefighters were called to Leowaena Street just before 4:30 p.m A house was engulfed in flames when crews arrived. Two other homes were damaged along with a car.
No injuries were reported. Damage is estimated at $355,000.
Neighbors say the homeowner may have been in the process of selling the house.
A fire investigator will be looking into the cause of the fire.
