HONOLULU -

Have you ever thought about raising fish and growing plants together?

Now you can learn the art of the aquaponics system at the 20th annual PrimeTime Wellness Fair.

Many that use the system say it is a fully natural process mimicking all the rivers, ponds, lakes and other waterways.

"The water is contained in the tank below where the fish are. The fish poop in the water and that water is sent up to the plans. The plants celan the water and send it back down," said Jay Ogden of AquaponiceOahu.com.

The fair is scheduled for Mar. 4 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. It will be held at the Neal S. Blaisdell Exhibition Hall and is sponsored by The First Hawaiian Bank.
