PAHOA, Hawaii -

A Puna woman is behind bars Thursday after pointing a gun at a Pahoa elementary school, causing the school to go on lockdown.

According to Big Island police, 49-year-old Lokelani Lenore Harbrecht-Kalua was believed to be brandishing a firearm at a home next to Keoneopoko Elementary School around 7:18 a.m.

Reports also indicate that she was pointing the gun at the school in the Hawaiian Beaches subdivision.
