Senators on both sides of the aisle struck a deal Wednesday to restore lower interest rates for student borrowers this fall, The Associated Press reported.
A vote on the deal could come as early as Thursday, the wire service said.
Students would be offered lower rates through the 2015 academic year, but then rates were expected to rise, the AP reported.
