HONOLULU -

The University of Hawaii football coaching staff got a shakeup on Tuesday.

Rainbow Warrior head coach Norm Chow relieved UH defensive coordinator Thom Kaumeyer and linebackers coach Tony Tuioti of their duties effective immediately.

Kaumeyer just finished his second season at UH after coming here via the NFL's Jacksonville Jaguars.  Tuioti is a former UH defensive lineman and was the only holdover from the staff of former head coach Greg McMackin whom Chow replaced two seasons ago.

The UH football team ended its 2013 season with a 1-11 record with a win against Army on the final game of the season.
