BYU shuts out Hawaii, 47-0
Brigham Young University dominated its Friday night game against the University of Hawaii, 47-0.
Jamaal Williams rushed for 155 yards and two touchdowns for the Cougars. BYU's freshman quarter Taysom Hill passed for 112 yards with two passing touchdowns and one interception, but also rushed for 144 yards and one rushing touchdown.
Hill had a long 68-yard touchdown run in the second quarter to put BYU up 20-0 at the half.
Warrior quarterback Sean Schroeder had 108 passing yards with one interception.
BYU dominated the game with 538 total yards versus 148 total yards for Hawaii.
The Warriors drop to 1-3 on the year and BYU goes to 3-2, with all three wins at home.
Hawaii's next game is against the San Diego State Aztecs on the road on Oct. 6.
