Hawaii's Clarissa Chun won a bronze medal in women's wrestling in the 48-kilogram category at the London Games Wednesday.
It was the first wrestling medal for the U.S. at the Summer Olympics.
Japan took the gold meal in both the 63-kg and 48-kg division. Kaori Icho, who won the gold in the 63-kg division, became the first Japanese woman to capture the same event in three straight Olympics. She beat Jing Ruixue of China 3-0, 2-0 to extend her winning streak to 72 matches.
Hitomi Obama finished on top of the 48-kg category.
