Former University of Hawaii baseball star Kolten Wong has made the St. Louis Cardinals roster for the National League Division Series against the Pittsburgh Pirates, according the Associated Press.
Wong, a rookie second baseman, played 32 games this season for the Cardinals with a .153 batting average. He made his Major League Baseball debut on Aug. 16.
The NLDS begins Thursday in St. Louis at 11 a.m. Hawaii time.
The Cardinals ended the regular season on Sunday tied with the Boston Red Sox for the best record in the MLB. On Tuesday, the Pirates beat the Cincinnati Reds at home, 6-2, for their first postseason victory since 1992.
