New Orleans didn’t have much to apologize for in its 31-13 win over Carolina Sunday night.

However, one Saint felt an apology was necessary.

After the game, Saints punter Thomas Morstead issued an apology on Twitter to Panthers returnman Ted Ginn Jr. for his first quarter facemask penalty.

Morstead tweeted, “Apologies to @TedGinnJr_19 for the face mask tonight. I'm not the most experienced tackler.... Need to punt better so I don't have to tackle.”

Ginn returned Morstead’s punt 32 yards on the play before Morstead tackled him illegally at the New Orleans 47-yard line.
